We are a company with National distribution and coverage but also with a strong Midlands presence.
As an established division of a larger group, we operate with a multimillion growing turnover which has been in continued growth year on year.
Our core range area are speciality and chilled products including pastries, breakfast products, butchery patisserie and sandwich fillings.
However, our continued development of the range has led to moving towards more of a one stop solution across all product required by chefs including non-food.
We have developed a strong reputation for our service levels built upon many successful years of trading and believe this to be the foundation of our continued growth.
As part of this growth we are seeking to add to our sales team with a further Foodservice sales specialist.
This is an account management position with a new business focus for 2021.
You will be responsible for an account base of circa 250 customers with 50 key accounts within this portfolio.
The account base covers a wide range of food establishments including pubs, cafes, sandwich shops, nursing homes, garden centres, farm shops and butchery establishments.
We are particularly keen on developing our pub, café and coffee shop business as we feel that due to the recently increased breadth of our range, we have more to offer in these areas.
You will be fully responsible for the accounts from a sales perspective and account manage any new customers brought up on board to add to your customer base.
Contact level ranges from Head Chefs, to owners, through to buyers so effective communication and a strong sales structure is crucial to this position.
We are ideally seeking to speak to proven sales professionals with experience selling into the foodservice and catering sector.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in field sales.
- Candidates with experience in sales to the hospitality sector are of particular interest.
- Candidates must have strong business development skills and drive to achieve new business.
- A background working for a foodservice food manufacturer or wholesales is preferable.
- Candidates must be driven, energetic sales professionals able to plan and implement their own journey plan.
